[+] Ranchman on SMITH v. COX
The decisions in this case are unarguably wrong on so many counts, whether they sound legal or not. The dashcam video, showing the arresting officer's conduct, proves the officer has immeasurable contempt for a citizen's rights. Not only was he unprofessional, he created an environment in which someone could have been seriously harmed. With conduct like that, it is doubtful that the officer can be retrained to standards which reflect good will toward the community. He should have been terminated immediately.

How old was the petitioner? He deserves the right to not know how to defend himself at the time of the trial..
[+] Judith Frost on STATE EX REL. PILLSBURY v. HONEYWELL, INC.
I remember these events so well! I was part of the Honeywell Project, and remember Charles Pillsbury and our carefully planned effort to reason with the Honeywell stockholders. Many people bought stock and attended the meeting. From nowhere, a group of radicals appeared and broke the door and invaded the meeting, destroying our quiet and rational purpose. We had never seen any of them before. But I didn't know Charles had taken Honeywell to court on this. Bless him!

[+] Bruce R. Mundy on WASHOE-MILL APARTMENTS v. U.S. BANK NATIONAL ASSOCIATION
You left out the relevant party to this fee dispute; Secretary Shaun Donovan in his official capacity as Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development "HUD"). The above Order relates to US Bank's Interpleader Action against Washoe-Mill Apartments and HUD that in an earlier decision, the court awarded the interpled funds to HUD after deduction of US Bank's fees and costs associated with the interpleader action. As such, Washoe-Mill Apartment, did not actively participate in the arguments regarding the amount of the US Bank's fees and costs. Separately, Washoe-Mill's claims against US Bank are on appeal to the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Case Number 14-15794.

[+] Ann Tornabane on WESKE v. SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS, AMERICA, INC.
We have a Samsung french door refrigerator purchased 11/28/11. Model #RF267AERS. Our nightmare began on 12/23/14 as ice crystals were forming on frozen food in bottom freezer. First we removed all food and shelving from both top frig and freezer. After freezer bins have been removed we take out this giant sheet of ice that has formed. We pull off the twin cool panel, disconnect some small wires, pour hot water down the hole which has frozen. We then remove the back panel behind the frig at the bottom and use something similar to a turkey baster to remove the water. This allows the frig to start again. We put all the shelving and food back and turn this defective appliance on again. This is a recurring nightmare that now happens every 3 weeks to a month. It was much easier to do in the winter as we live in IA but in the summer it will be more difficult. Samsung knows they produced a defective appliance. I am not putting one penny into this appliance. We are 70 yrs. old
