On November 6, 2008, a federal grand jury returned a multi-count indictment against defendants James McKenzie and Mario Barber, charging (1) conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute mixtures containing in excess of five kilograms of cocaine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846, and (2) knowingly possessing and carrying firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1)(A) and (c)(2).
