Appellant Tajjideen Whitaker (hereinafter "Appellant") appeals from the judgment of sentence entered in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County on July 22, 2009, at which time Appellant received a mandatory sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole following his conviction of first-degree murder1 along with a concurrent sentence of nine (9) months to twenty-four (24) months in prison...
