After a joint jury trial, defendants Cortez and Gonzales were convicted of possession of more than 650 grams of a mixture containing cocaine with intent to deliver, MCL 333.7401(2)(a)(i); MSA 14.15(7401)(2)(a)(i). Defendant Cespedes was convicted of the same crime in a separate nonjury trial. Defendants were sentenced to imprisonment for life, and they appeal as of right.
