Plaintiff, Donna Krickl, appeals from the order of the circuit court granting summary judgment in favor of defendant, Girl Scouts, Illinois Crossroads Council, Inc. (Council). Plaintiff was a pedestrian in a grocery store parking lot when she was struck by a car driven by Philip Arends, a volunteer assistant leader of his daughter's Brownie troop, who had just finished supervising the troop's cookie sale.
