SMITH, Circuit Judge.

Calvin Stovall and Vertis Clay appeal their sentences imposed for various drug and firearm offenses. The district court1 sentenced Stovall to life imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute at least 100 kilograms of marijuana, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 846 ("Count 1").2 Clay was tried and convicted by a jury on Count 1, as well...
