Defendant Raymond Oscar Butler was convicted of two counts each of murder, robbery, and carjacking.1 On all charges, the jury found that defendant personally used a firearm; on the robbery and carjacking charges, it found that he inflicted great bodily injury.2 The jury found as special circumstances that the murders were committed during the attempted commission...
