Teresa Norlander ("the mother") petitions this court to issue a writ of mandamus directing the Cullman Circuit Court to vacate its ex parte order awarding pendente lite custody of the parties' 10-year-old son to Daniel Norlander ("the father"). For the reasons set forth below, we grant the petition and issue the writ.
