Frank Lazos killed Jose Angel Solano (Solano), and, several hours later, aided his much-younger brother Joshua Lazos when Joshua killed Daniel Santoyo. To avoid confusion, we will refer to Frank and Joshua by their first names in this opinion. They had separate trials.
