Rex R. Saunders brought this suit, alleging that Branch Banking & Trust Company of Virginia (BB & T) violated its duties as a furnisher of information under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C.A. §§ 1681-1681x (West 1998 & Supp.2007) (FCRA). After a full trial, the jury returned a verdict for Saunders, awarding him $1,000 in statutory damages...
