HANSEN, Circuit Judge.

A jury found Kent Platter guilty of being both a felon and a drug user in possession of a firearm, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1) and (g)(3). Kent was sentenced to 70 months of imprisonment for one count of illegal possession of a firearm. In connection with the same operative facts, Kent's brother, Timothy Platter, pleaded guilty to two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and was sentenced to 137 months of imprisonment...
