Nathan Murphy, a minor, applied for Supplemental Security Income after being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Although the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) found that Nathan exhibited marked difficulty in one domain of functioning, the ALJ denied benefits because impairment in two domains is required to qualify for coverage.
