Lorien Salazar appeals the summary judgment dismissing her claims against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. We affirm.

I.

In 1999, Salazar was involved in an automobile accident when motorist Edward Ren rear-ended her vehicle. As a result of this accident, Salazar filed suit against Ren. Because her damages exceeded Ren's $25,000 automobile insurance policy limit, Salazar notified her insurer, State Farm, of a probable claim...
