The defendant, James Coningford, appeals from a judgment of conviction for second-degree child molestation sexual assault, arguing that the trial justice erred in (1) permitting the state to present the testimony of two witnesses concerning the defendant's alleged prior acts of sexual misconduct under Rule 404(b) of the Rhode Island Rules of Evidence, and (2) refusing to instruct the jury on the lesser-included offense...
