Donald Bull racked up a large credit card debt and could not pay it back. Before Bull received the credit cards, he agreed that he would be on the book for any reasonable attorneys' fees expended by the card issuers in the event Bull failed to pay. The issuers sold the rights to Bull's accounts to Defendant Asset Acceptance, who in turn called on Defendant Greene & Cooper—a law firm—to go...
