POSNER, Circuit Judge.

The defendant pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to possess, with intent to distribute, more than five grams of a mixture or substance containing crack cocaine. 21 U.S.C. § 846. The judge sentenced him to 57 months in prison, which was at the bottom of the guidelines range for the defendant's offense. The sentence was imposed after the Supreme Court, in United States v. Booker, 543 U.S. 220...
