Semyon Bumagin appeals from his conviction and sentence after pleading guilty before Judge Wood. Bumagin was involved in a scheme to defraud a jeweler and pled guilty to conspiring to possess and pass a counterfeit instrument to defraud a jeweler, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 371, 513(a), 514(a)(2) and to passing or attempting to pass a fictitious obligation, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 514(a)(2).
