Through an interpreter, the Vietnamese plaintiff obtained automobile liability insurance and purportedly signed a waiver of uninsured motorist coverage. Following an accident with an underinsured motorist, the plaintiff seeks uninsured motorist coverage from his insurer, challenging the validity of his waiver. The trial court determined that the plaintiff had no capacity to read and understand English and that the waiver of uninsured motorist coverage...
