We granted the application of United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company (USF&G) for further appellate review in this case. The Appeals Court reversed an order granting summary judgment entered in the Superior Court that had dismissed claims that USF&G and another insurer2 had engaged in unfair settlement practices in violation of G. L. c. 93A, in connection with a lawsuit brought by the plaintiff for personal injuries...
