Brookshire Food Stores, L.L.C., appeals a judgment rendered in favor of Katherine Allen in her premises liability cause of action. The case was tried before a jury, which found in favor of Allen and assessed damages of $10,000.00. The trial court rendered judgment accordingly, awarding damages of $14,242.19, which included amounts for prejudgment interest and court costs. On appeal...
