Marcus Clemons was convicted after a bench trial of premeditated first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and criminal possession of a firearm. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole in 25 years pursuant to K.S.A. 1998 Supp. 22-3717 on the premeditated first-degree murder conviction; 732 months on the attempted murder conviction, to run consecutively; and 8 months...
