Deborah Jahn owned a champion Hackney pony named Night Passage. In April of 1997, the pony was taken to Equine Services, PSC, to have corrective surgery for a breathing problem. The surgery was performed on April 15, 1997, and a few hours after the operation, Night Passage was found dead in his stall.
