Debra K. Carr ("the mother") appeals from a judgment entered on the petition of Henry W. Howard ("the father") to modify the parties' divorce judgment.1

The record reflects that the parties were divorced in August 1993. The divorce judgment provided in relevant part:

"The Court finds that the best interest of the children is served by a split custody arrangement...
