A jury convicted Jose Ramirez on charges that he conspired to possess marijuana with the intent to distribute, see 21 U.S.C. § 846, possessed marijuana with the intent to distribute, see 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), and used or carried a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking offense, see 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1). R. 89. The district court sentenced Ramirez to a prison term of 108 months...
