Appellant, Ross D. Margraves, Jr., appeals his conviction for official misconduct. A jury in Lee County, Texas returned a guilty verdict in September 1996 after appellant's motion for change of venue from Brazos County was granted in July 1996. On November 22, 1996, the trial court accepted an agreement reached by the parties and set punishment at four years probation, a $3,000 fine, and $1,435 in restitution. Appellant...
