Vincent Brown sued the Bank of Galveston, N.A., under the Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act. TEX. BUS. & COM.CODE §§ 17.41-17.63. The court of appeals held that Brown was not a consumer under the DTPA, and thus lacked standing to sue the Bank. 930 S.W.2d 140.
