The defendant was charged in four indictments with assault with intent to kill (G. L. c. 265, § 29), two acts of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon to wit: an automobile (G. L. c. 265, § 15A), and possession of heroin (G. L. c. 94C, § 34). A jury convicted the defendant on all indictments except the indictment charging assault with intent to kill.
