Appellant was indicted for the offense of murder committed in the course of attempting to commit kidnapping pursuant to V.T.C.A. Penal Code Section 19.03(a)(2), alleged to have been committed on or about August 22, 1993 in Gillespie County. Appellant was convicted in a trial by jury of capital murder on March 8, 1995.
