Charles Martin Edgar, formerly a U.S. Department of Commerce employee, was convicted of three counts of making false statements on his federal workers' compensation claims, and of one count of mail fraud arising from a false automobile accident claim to an insurer. He was acquitted on other charges, including bankruptcy fraud.1 Edgar was sentenced to one year and one day in prison plus two years of supervised release...
