This appeal arises from a disciplinary action taken against Ray E. Plummer by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA"). The AICPA claimed that Plummer, while acting in his capacity as an accountant, violated the organization's ethical rules concerning conflicts of interest by performing an audit of real estate that belonged to a trust of which he was a cotrustee.
