Defendant was charged by bill of information with attempted second degree murder, in violation of La.R.S. 14:27 and La.R.S. 14:30.1. After a trial by jury, the defendant was found guilty as charged in an eleven to one verdict. Defendant was sentenced to fifty (50) years at hard labor.
