Tyree Marcus Sims and Maurice Shuntey Mance were jointly charged in a multi-count indictment in connection with the shooting death of Bobby Ingram, a taxicab driver. Mance entered guilty pleas to malice murder, theft, and possession of a firearm, and he testified at trial against Sims. Sims was convicted by a jury of felony murder (predicated on armed robbery and aggravated assault), and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime....
