Along with numerous other co-defendants, Robert Joseph Carr, Jr. ("Carr") and Walter Orlando Cardona-Usquiano ("Cardona") were charged in a multi-count indictment with participating in a money laundering conspiracy. Carr was charged with and convicted of three counts: conspiracy to launder money in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371 ("Count 1"); money laundering on July 11, 1990, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §...
