COYNE, Justice.

We granted the parties' joint petition for accelerated review in this case in order to address an important and doubtful certified question: whether and to what extent socalled Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) testimony is admissible in prosecutions for driving while under the influence of a controlled substance.
