William C. Pritchett, Sr., sued SouthTrust Bank of Tuscaloosa County, N.A. ("SouthTrust Tuscaloosa") in the Montgomery Circuit Court, alleging fraud, conversion, abuse of process, wanton/willful conduct, and malicious prosecution. The claims arose from SouthTrust Tuscaloosa's attempt to recover upon a note executed by Pritchett's son and cosigned by Pritchett. SouthTrust Tuscaloosa filed a motion to transfer the case to the Tuscaloosa Circuit Court...
