Nicholas Stachniak made four claims in his 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action arising from his arrest in the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, on charges of aggravated battery and resisting arrest, and his conviction on the resisting arrest charge. He sued Oak Brook Police Officers Louis P. Hayes, Susan Srch, Steven Larson, and William Haas in their official capacities alleging that the officers used excessive force in effecting his arrest in violation...
