Appellants Midwest Machinery Company (MMC) and its principal owner, Peter Platzer, brought this action claiming they were denied credit by respondent Norwest Bank (Bank) on the basis of Platzer's age, in violation of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA). Appellants also claim the Bank breached promises to honor a $5,000,000 line of credit, with additional amounts available on an as needed basis, and to release certain security...
