Cindy Wortham (grievant) was terminated in May 1988 by the Board of Education of School District U-46 (District) from her position as a school bus driver. This termination was challenged by the District U-46 Transportation Union (Union) and in July 1989 an arbitrator determined Wortham should be reinstated, without loss of seniority, but with no back pay.
