Plaintiff brought this action against the defendant manufacturer, distributor and sellers of a General Motors van from which she fell while riding as her husband's passenger. She contended that the event occurred because she inadvertently came in contact with the door handle and that, because of the unrecessed design of the handle, the door opened.
