This is an appeal from a conviction of first degree murder and a sentence of death. The principal issues on appeal involve (1) the admission of hearsay testimony by a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent relating to his interview with defendant's girlfriend and the girlfriend's daughter, who were witnesses to the murder and did not testify at trial; (2) the admission of pretrial identification testimony
