Defendant, Richard L. Harris, was convicted of burglary under section 19-1(a) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 19-1(a)). He appeals, contending the trial court erred by denying his motion to suppress evidence. The issue is whether the driver of defendant's car had authority to consent to the search of the car in which the proceeds of the burglary...
