These appeals are taken from convictions for the murder of Terri Yohey and of Craig Gooch. TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. § 19.02(a)(1) (Vernon 1989). Appellant was separately indicted for the offenses. The indictments were consolidated for trial. The jury assessed punishment in each cause at life imprisonment in the Texas Department of Corrections2 and a fine of $10...
