The plaintiff, Kevin G. Dubay, as conservator of the estate of Elizabeth Irish, filed the instant appeal from the judgment of the trial court, Noren, J., rendered in favor of the defendant, Inasita Irish, the mother of the plaintiff's incompetent. The trial court granted the defendant's motion for summary judgment, ruling that the first count of the plaintiff's amended complaint, sounding in negligence, was barred by the doctrine of parental immunity...
