Aaron Headspeth was convicted, following a jury trial, of possession of an unregistered firearm, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 5861(d), and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). The district court imposed an enhanced sentence for the violation of § 922(g), pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 924(e), based on prior convictions for robbery, robbery with a deadly weapon, and storehouse...
