A jury impanelled in Loudoun County convicted the appellant of first degree murder and recommended a sentence of life imprisonment. The dispositive question on appeal asks whether the Commonwealth proved venue under Code § 19.2-247 by demonstrating that the victim's body was found in Loudoun County, Virginia. We reverse because under no interpretation of the law describing the Virginia/Maryland boundary could one determine that the victim's body...
