PATRICK E. HIGGINBOTHAM, Circuit Judge:

Prince Lewis, Jr., a former tenured school teacher, appeals from a summary judgment, dismissing his claim asserted under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against the East Feliciana Parish School Board. The district court held that the claim had been decided by the Louisiana state courts, and was barred by res judicata; that in any event it lacked jurisdiction to review the state court decisions, 635 F.Supp. 296
