This is an appeal from convictions of conspiracy to import cocaine into the United States. The appellants, Pierre Giry ("Giry") and Steven Seward ("Seward") were indicted by a federal grand jury in the District of Puerto Rico on one count of conspiracy to import approximately 135 kilograms of cocaine into the United States, in violation of 21 U.S.C. sections 952 and 963. Giry was also indicted on two counts of using communication facilities...
