Janie Haskins appeals from the judgment of the district court denying her request for retroactive promotion, back pay, front pay and attorney's fees in this Title VII sex discrimination suit. Appellant claims that the district court committed legal error by considering the issue of "but for" causation — i.e., whether appellant would have been promoted in the absence of discrimination — in the remedial stage of the proceedings...
