OPINION ON APPELLANT'S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

McCORMICK, Judge.

In February of 1978, appellant was convicted of the offense of forgery1 after a trial by jury. The jury assessed appellant's punishment at four years' confinement and a $5000 fine.
