This matter comes before the court on defendants' motion for summary judgment.

STATEMENT OF FACTS

Gunther Forstmann (plaintiff) asserts several claims growing out of a meeting and conversation with Robert Culp, president of Culp, Inc. (defendants), on 1 March 1985. Plaintiff alleges that he initiated the meeting to discuss the possibility that defendant might purchase Baxter-Kelly, Inc....
